Our toque-awarded restaurant above the rooftops of Salzburg

With finely selected, regional ingredients, our team led by head chef Florian Dornstauder creates wonderful culinary experiences that interpret Salzburg's traditional hospitality with a modern influence and at a high toque level.

Restaurant

Your restaurant at the Gaisberg

In addition to classic Austrian dishes such as boiled beef from Salzburg organic cattle, fresh fish from local waters or homemade Griessschmarrn, we also offer dishes with influences from all over the world. Lovingly served in our rustic parlors with rustic woods and fine fabrics or in our green guest garden with a view of the Alps. Our attentive staff are always on hand with a smile for both hotel guests and our regional visitors - from delicious breakfasts and lunches to exclusive dinners.

Kräuterbeet im Frühling

Sustainability & freshness

Situated at the foot of the Gaisberg at an altitude of 800 meters, the Romantik® Hotel die Gersberg Alm has extensive gardens, most of which are left in their natural state. In addition to the picturesque cottage gardens, there are also two raised beds where herbs are planted in spring for the hotel's own use. Head chef Florian Dornstauder enjoys using the freshly harvested herbs directly in the kitchen.

For breakfast, we offer you honey from our beekeeping and, depending on the season, serve you fruit from our own orchards. Animal support is provided by our sheep, which “mow” the meadows in summer. In winter, fir trees from our own forest provide atmospheric decoration.
