- Coming from Vienna: Take the Thalgau motorway exit (Exit 274). Continue towards Hof and turn onto the B158 towards Salzburg. Just before Salzburg – in Guggenthal – turn left up onto the Gaisberg Landesstraße, which you follow until the ‘Die Gersberg Alm’ junction (well signposted).
- Coming from Villach/Munich: Take the Salzburg Nord motorway exit (Exit 288). From here, please follow the officially signposted hotel guidance system and look out for the green signs.

Salzburg Central Station is very easily accessible from Switzerland, Germany and also from within Austria. From Salzburg Central Station, you can reach us by public transport: take bus routes 130, 155 or 175 to Mirabellplatz and change there to bus 151 to reach us.
If you’d prefer a more comfortable journey, book a transfer with us – from €65 in a standard car, from €75 in a minivan.

- Salzburg Airport is just a few minutes’ drive from the city of Salzburg; we’d be happy to arrange an airport taxi for you from there.

How far is it from the city of Salzburg to the Gersberg Alm?
About 15 minutes by car or taxi – we’re situated right on the Gaisberg, above Salzburg.
Is there a direct bus service from the railway station to Gaisberg?
Unfortunately, there is no direct bus service from Salzburg Central Station. Take bus number 130, 155 or 175 to Mirabellplatz, and from there take bus 151 to us.
How much does a transfer from the station or airport cost?
- From the station: from €65 in a standard car, from €75 in a minivan.
- From the airport: from €75 by taxi, from €85 in a Mercedes, from €95 in a minivan.

Are there any car parks and an electric charging point?
Yes, there are plenty of free parking spaces available.
There are also eight electric vehicle charging points, which are operated by Salzburg AG. Charging costs are billed directly by Salzburg AG.
Is it possible to access the site easily in winter when there is snow?
Access to the hotel is possible at any time, even in winter, as the road is cleared regularly. However, if you have any concerns due to the weather, we recommend contacting our reception at any time.
Please note the Austrian requirement for winter tyres: this applies from 1 November to 15 April, with the specific proviso ‘in wintry conditions’, which applies in the event of snow, slush or ice.
