The Suite Gaisberg is one of the hotel’s highlights. It spans 50 square metres over two levels and features a round bed beneath a starry sky, with views of Salzburg glowing in the evening light. Those looking for even more space will find it in the Suite Nockstein: 100 square metres, two balconies overlooking the countryside and a private mini-spa with a bio-sauna and infrared cabin. Send us your requirementsAn evening for two often begins at our table. Our cuisine is rooted in the region and authentic in the truest sense of the word: Austrian classics with a modern twist of our own. Head chef Florian Dornstauder and his team work with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
In summer, take a seat in the shaded outdoor dining area, with Salzburg bathed in the evening light below. In winter, our historic dining rooms create an intimate atmosphere. To accompany your meal, we are happy to recommend a wine from our list, which features around 120 carefully selected wines. We particularly favour winemakers who tend their vineyards with care and patience, a philosophy that also guides our kitchen.
There is plenty to help you slow down and enjoy the day without leaving the hotel: swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, play a match on the tennis court or, as evening falls, enjoy a game of skittles in our alley, which is open all year round. In the sauna area, the Finnish sauna, steam room and infrared cabin offer welcome warmth when the air outside turns cool.
For couples who want to explore Salzburg, there is plenty to discover: stroll through the Baroque Old Town, visit Hohensalzburg Fortress high above the city or, at the right time of year, spend an evening at the Salzburg Festival.
